For any build incorporating the Ninja Sword, the Hi Ninja Sword's 100% Affinity is without a doubt its primary draw. With a guaranteed bonus of 25% to all its attacks because of affinity, the Hi Ninja Sword has an effective raw damage stat of 250.

You can upgrade the Master Sword's base damage to 40, 50, or 60 by completing the Trial of the Sword as part of The Master Trials DLC, which we'll outline below. If you upgrade it to damage 60, the weapon becomes unbreakable, but you'll still need to recharge it after a while.

The Longsword IS the best weapon in Monster Hunter Rise full stop and Sunbreak didn't change that. It's not the easiest for new players but is devastating once you master it.

1) Long Sword

The Long Sword is one of the most iconic weapons in the Monster Hunter series. Being one of the most widely used weapons in the game, it has received quite a few notable additions, which enhance its mobility and charge damage output significantly.

Leveling Up Weapons & Ninjutsu

Use Blood Crystals to level up weapons and Ninjutsu. Upgrading a weapon increases its cutting power and unlocks more possible combo attacks for that sword. Once the crystals have been allocated, you can't get them back.

Now, instead of unlocking the power when the blade/dojo is unlocked, each blade/dojo will need to be levelled up to 10. Levelling up an item requires starfruit and item duplicates, which can be obtained from boxes or event mode. Once at maximum level, the power can be obtained from a box.

Shinobi Prosthetic Tool Upgrades. Once you defeat Gyoubu Oniwa at the end of the Ashina Outskirts, you'll gain the Mechanical Barrel. This item allows for the Sculptor to further upgrade your Shinobi Tools and unlock new variations of your devices to use in different situations.
