Sorry to hear that but that is what 2 ingredient is.

  2. Mar says

I followed the recipe exactly. Mine came out kind of like a cross between a biscuit and a bagel... kind of a weird heavier texture than a regular cinnamon roll without the pull apart layers. The caramel topping helped sweeten it, but felt they were a little flat tasting. But.... also realize these don't have the huge amount of calories and fat as a regular one!!! I think this was a great, creative idea though!!!

FAQs

Can I use granulated sugar instead of brown sugar in cinnamon rolls? ›

Use brown sugar or granulated sugar in the filling: I used to use granulated sugar in the cinnamon sugar filling, but recently switched to brown sugar for extra flavor. Brown sugar doesn't necessarily make the filling more moist—there's so much butter, so it's moist and gooey either way. Use whichever sugar you prefer.

Why aren t my cinnamon rolls gooey? ›

The key to making a perfectly ooey, gooey cinnamon roll isn't about the spice — it's about the butter. When you are preparing cinnamon rolls, you should always work with slightly softened butter rather than rock-hard or melted butter. In a dough, the butter is an important softener that keeps the dough supple.

Combining white sugar with molasses may be a better brown sugar substitute, but if you don't have molasses, other liquid sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar will work as well.
