Aunt Lou here.
If you’ve looked around the site, you might have seen that we have taken my all-time-favorite recipe and adapted it in quite a few ways. When Michael showed up with a pack of pork steaks he had found on sale for only 75¢ per lb, I knew I had to try out our tried and true recipe on pork steaks! And this Slow Cooker Pork Steak with Gravy did not disappoint! It was fall-apart tender and so yummy!

How to Make Pork Steak with Gravy in a Slow Cooker
Place your steaks in a 6-quart slow cooker. Spoon your soups on top of your steaks. Sprinkle your gravy packets on top. Pour your water over everything. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
Slow Cooker Pork Steak with Gravy Notes:
- Our pack of pork steaks was over 4 1/2 lbs. So it made a bunch. However, if you would prefer to have less, you can easily cut this recipe in half. If you cut it in half, you will want to use a smaller slow cooker to keep the cooking time close to the same. As always, make sure you watch it closely the first time you make it, so you will know how fast or slow your slow cooker cooks this recipe.
- Since this recipe makes so much, it is the PERFECT recipe to make when having company!
- As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
- All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and shouldalways be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.

Awesome. Just needs salt and pepper. I prefer adding salt and pepper beef for it’s cooked then after seems to me if there’s much better if you had it before but this recipe is great.

This looks exactly like the recipe my mom used to make way back in the 70’s. She would put 10 pork chops(bone on) in a large serving bowl and totally submerge them in thick, white gravy(black peppered). There were 5 in our family, so everyone got 2 pork chops a piece.I shall try this recipe soon!
Thanks,
Jim SnellReply

I love anything pork and this is a fast easy recipe I like to mix the soup, gravy packet and water together before pouring over the steaks. (Boneless chops work well also.) Only gave 4 stars because of the high sodium content but flavor was 5 stars!Reply
