SIX INVITATIONAL: GROUP C PRESENTATION (2024)

Now that you’re familiar with the teams in Group A and Group B, let’s take a look at the four sides on their way to Canada in Group C.

Black Dragons (LATAM):

While their performance in their home country during the Season 3 Finals was their second appearance in a LAN event as an organization, it was this roster’s very first. Comprised of Psycho, pzdd, wag, Julio, and Kamikaze, the all-Brazilian team is no stranger to tangles with PENTA Sports, having lost to them in the Y2S1 LAN Semi-Finals.

However, two seasons later, they came back with a vengeance and stopped the two-time world champions in their tracks with an unprecedented 2-0 victory. They had another surprise ready -- having placed first in the LATAM region, beating out their fellow titans Team FONTT (now FaZe Clan). This also guaranteed them a slot in the Six Invitational.

The roster has also had good amounts of global LAN experience, having made it as far as the Semi-Finals in Y2S1 under the V3 Masters banner. Of that team, only Kamikaze, Psycho, and pzdd remain, sharing a wealth of experience and synergy between themselves. There is no doubt that they are the team to beat in Group C!

Counter Logic Gaming (NA):

North America’s entry in Group C, CLG has good reason to have a spot at this year’s Invitational in Canada. Making it to LAN in Y2S1 with a lineup comprising Skys, LaXInG, Easily, England and Geoo, they were knocked out in the very first round by the marauding PENTA Sports after Bosco had to fill in for the latter. After a roster change, they made it to the Grand Finals in the next season for a rematch against PENTA Sports. While they were not able to secure a win, PENTA had already booked their slot in the Invitational after winning in Y2S1, so the team (formerly Elevate) confirmed their spot at the Six Invitational.

Despite their Grand Final loss in Y2S2, their lineup is nevertheless experienced when it comes to winning -- Skys, England, and LaXInG were the Xbox Champions in last year’s edition of the Invitational, with the latter having won the inaugural Xbox Pro League in Y1S1 as well, as well as last year’s Six Invitational for the Xbox Pro League. This is definitely a team to watch out for when it comes to fast, explosive plays, and a surgical roam game by LaXIng and Skys.

Furthermore, just a few days ago, their spirits were lifted greatly with Counter Logic Gaming stepping in to sign their roster. This is certainly going to be something that will no doubt give them added fuel in their attempt to win the Six Invitational crown.

the fact in just one season before this invite we have got Faze, Liquid, and CLG is insane. Can only imagine who we have by next invite!

Supremacy (EU):

Representing the massive French Rainbow Six: Siege contingent, Supremacy are a maverick team that the others in Group C will have to watch out for. With a lineup comprising BiBoo, RaFaLe, Spark, ZephiR, and latest member BriD, they have some great experience available on the roster, having got to the Y1S3 Grand Finals and the Six Invitational Semi-Finals on Xbox with the former 4/5th of the roster.

On their way to qualification, they first beat ALSEN-Team.pl, before moving on to face fellow French team Millenium. In an extremely back-and-forth match, they took Map 1 6-5 before taking a 0-5 beating on the next one. The third map was a strong retort from them, as they won 5-1 and went on to face 1UP eSport in the “Final”. Now qualified, they will look to kick start their 2018 campaign with their first ever title.

Well I am officially going to be one of the team handler for the R6 Invitational :D #RainbowSixSiege
Will be taking care of @Team_Vitality and @Supremacy_FR for sure :D

YeaH! Gaming (LATAM):

Formerly known as Lanchonete (LSX), they were picked up by their new organization just after qualifying for the Invitational. The all-Brazilian side has the Pro League stalwarts Revo1Tz, SpWns, and Yoona from the former paiN Gaming lineup, as well as fk1 and gCR from the former INTZ e-Sports team.

LSX began their climb to qualification by beating Complex Gaming, before pulling off an unexpected victory against top seed Team Rogerinho in the Quarter-Finals. Next up against them was MyP e-Sports whom they dispatched with a score line of 10-1 over two quick maps. This, then, brought them up against longstanding veterans BRK e-Sports (comprising three players from the former Merciless Gaming, oNe, and D1OGO1). In a stunning upset, LSX defeated BRK by a scoreline of 3-1, upending many viewers’ and even analysts’ expectations. New but experienced, they will be a strong contest to every other team in Group C.
